Forty Thieves Rules

The goal of Forty Thieves Solitaire is to move all your cards to the upper right stacks, known as foundations. Foundations must be placed from Ace to King. Meaning: A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K and have to be of the same suit.

Only one card can be moved at a time, whether from the stock pile, which is at the upper left hand side of your screen or the tableau pile, which are the 10 stacks located in the middle of your screen. What makes this game so unique is that it has 8 foundations, making this game a bit trickier than other forms of Solitaire.

Cards moved from the stock pile can either be moved directly to the corresponding foundation pile or somewhere within the tableau pile to help you access other cards that are located underneath. In order to add a card to the tableau pile, the card needs to be one point below of the card you are attempting to place on top of and of the same suit.

This game is very difficult to master. The trick is to try and get an empty column early on in the game. This gets things moving along and gives you better and quicker access to more cards.
